Did President-elect Barack Hussein Obama commit a federal crime in September of this year? Or did he never actually register and, instead, did friends of his in the Chicago federal records center, which maintains the official copy of his alleged Selective Service registration commit the crime for him?

Having worked for the Federal Government for several decades, I know that the standardization of DLNs have the first two digits of the DLN representing the year of issue. That would mean that this DLN was issued in 2008. The DLN on the computer screen printout is the exact same number, except the 0 and 8 have changed positions making it a 1980 DLN number. And 1980 is the year Senator/President Elect Obama is said to have timely registered. So, why does the machine-stamped DLN reflect this year (2008) and the DLN in the database (which was manually input) reflect a "corrected" DLN year of 1980? Were all the DLNs issued in 1980 erroneously marked with a 2008 DLN year or does the Selective Service use a different DLN system then the rest of the Federal Government? Or was the SSS Form 1 actually processed in 2008 and not 1980?...

I can’t seem to find a Daniel Amon with the SSS.gov. I see him quoted as a spokesperson often in KOS type forums and articles.
BUT, I was able to find a Daniel Amon, a Project Manager with Art-Z Graphics. Art-Z Graphics also does contract work for the SSS.gov.

For the SS in 1981, this was not true. At that time, the first THREE digits stood for the contracted data entry organization, not the year of issue. In the case of Obama's certificate, 089 stood for the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS had contracted to perform data entry for the newly reestablished Selective Service.
The 11th digit was added in 1999 as part of the Selective Services preparation for Y2K.
The "retired Federal Agent" has assembled a theory based on a false premise. The number has nothing to do with year of issue.

I provided documentation. You merely provided opinion unless you can prove what you say about the 089 being the IRS contractor for the inputting of the data. And please do not just repeat other bloggers opinion.

I would be very interested in the info you got... got any links to it? Or even for that matter manuals/references for an internet search?
Even if we are to agree that your point is correct(which it seams legit) that doesn't explain a whole host of other issues with the doc that have been touched on... any comment about the other problems that have been highlighted?

I also would like to see more on the Selective Service questions,please.It seems that every denial that has been registered just opens up more questions.This of course could be answered simply and immediately by Barry Soetoro,Barack Obama or whoever this man
actually is but it isn't.No documentation,no proper birth certificate,no college records.I really don't need any further proof to believe this man is dirty and belongs no where near the White House.

So i reviewed some info and found at the moment that ArtilleryCaptain is wrong... obama regged the SS in 80... not 81 thus it does not apply. Unless ArtilleryCaptain is saying that in 1981 all SS cards were rerecorded and stamped in the corner with a new tracking number and that number their is the IRS number...
However I find it hard to believe that is the case since that should be common knowledge by ppl working on the system.

I am 43 years old, I turned a citizen last year(May 22, 2008). And if necessary I will defend the nation in any type of cooperation if my services are requested.
